Audio Dedupe Duplicate MP3 Finder verison 2.5.0.1 is released.
There is new Quick Check/Uncheck functionality, which allows you to check/uncheck files by their folder, extension, file size, file date, etc.
Duplicate MP3 Finder Quick Check
The move/delete window is enhanced and the Duplicate MP3 Finder will let you delete read-only files too. There is also check if the space in the Recycle Bin is sufficient to hold the deleted files when deleting to Recycle Bin. If you have manually checked some file the application will display warning if an operation will alter your changes. The enhanced support for Windows 7 now includes also support for symbolic links ( symlinks ). The fixes include some wildcard issues fixed in the filter dialog and 120dpi support. The new tab in options can be used to set which columns are visible in the results table.
The PRO and Corporate versions of the duplicate mp3 finder software now include the option to export the results in XML or CSV file formats. The CSV file format can be viewed as a table directly in Excel. An option to delete empty folders during the delete operation will keep your folder-tree tight.
The new Compare Folders menu item is available in the Professional and Corporate versions. It will let you easily compare a folder with audio files with one or more folders.

Free Duplicate File Finder
Fast Duplicate File Finder 2.8.0.1 is available for download. In the new version you can pause and continue the scan process. The duplicates list can now be customized via the new tab in the options. You can choose which columns to be visible and which not. If you are unchecking a selection of files and there is a manually checked file in the list a warning message will be displayed. Hints in the filter dialog will display the full folder location if it doesn’t fit in the “Don’t Scan Folders” box. The improved folder selection dialog will let you select multiple folders simultaneously. The preview window has a lot of improvements and now uses Media Player 9 to preview video files. The fixes include some fixes related to moving files and a lot of improvements to the GUI.

Audio Dedupe
Audio Dedupe 1.3.0.1 adds support for iTunes MP4, M4A, AAC including the Apple Lossles audio format.
You can now easily locate the duplicate files inside your iTunes audio collection even if the files are not marked with ID3 tags and are stored using different file formats.
Audio Dedupe will also remove duplicate files from your iPhone and iPod in order to save valuable storage space.
Of course such feature will be useful also to people who do not use iTunes and have MP4, M4A and AAC audio files in their audio collections. You can download the latest Audio Dedupe version here.

Visual Similarity Duplicate Image Finder 2.6.0.2 improves performance with extra 10-15% at the image comparing stage and fixes a bunch of issues. VSDIF also improves multi language OS support and now handles properly the file names containing characters from the current “Language for non-Unicode programs”.
The RAW processing feature is also improved and a fix for previewing 32-bit and 48-bit images is added.
Corporate version now doesn’t show main window after command-line scan. Some small fixes and changes are applied including floating point operation error on some white images.

The new version of Visual Similarity Duplicate Image Finder – 2.6.0.1 improves the RAW scan features adding also extra flexibility to the auto-check options. The raw improvements include some fixes to raw image formats loading. There were some wrong image dimensions reported for raw images that are now fixed. The bigger issue that is fixed is a memory leak in the raw image processing routines. The application now consumes less memory and performs faster. The extension to the auto check is also serious. Do not mark file extensions list prevents auto-mark option from marking the selected image types. This will let you preserve your source images for example by excluding your RAW sources – .crw,.nef etc. Exclusion from the auto-mark can be also set based on file size and date. The last option in the advanced features dialog will allow specifying words or characters that if matched in the file name will also force the auto-check feature to skip them.
