The new version of the product is mainly optimized towards a better performance. We have customers with huge image databases that will be happy with the new improvements. Please read below for the list of changes.

- Fixed slowdowns in retreiving image information phase when comparing a lot of images.
- VSDIF is about 200% faster on small projects and it could be over 5-10 times faster on big projects.
- New and faster database format. Old databases are not supported.
- Removed grayscale option. Grayscale duplicates are automatically detected.

Duplicate Image Finder
Added support for custom databases with images. You can create databases to store the images information on the first scan and the next scans will use the information from the database. This speeds up a lot the process of retrieving images information and the whole scan. In case of multiple scans this new feature increases dramatically the scan speed. This will let you compare even the hugest library of images regardles of the memory installed on your system. The hard drive buffer is optimized and performs almost as fast as using memory buffer. Visual Similarity Duplicate Image Finder
The newest version of Visual Similarity Duplicate Image Finder comes with new features and comparison methods that add up to its power. Now you can compare also files other than graphics using different detection methods like comparing the file content using CRC, file names, file dates etc. A handy new feature that allows you to move duplicate images to a certain folder is also available.
